This is something really special and a treat for collectors. Serial# 001 of the first Gibson Custom Shop Artist model....so this is the 1st Gibson Custom Artist model ever made. Bought new at the Gibson dealer here in Amsterdam in 1997, this guitar was sold recently by the first owner and the guitar comes with the original purchase reciept and a Guitarmagazine in which this specific guitar with Serial#001 was mentioned.

The Custom Shop Joe Perry has many different features than the normal USA Perry run. This guitar is limited to 200 guitars, has an ebony fretboard, black binding, AAA maple top, flamed maple neck with blackburst finish, custom Joe Perry and Classic 57 PAFs, no wahwah circuit in the Custom Shop run, Aerosmith inlay in the fretboard, special hardcase with Aerosmith and Joe Perry logo.

The guitar is in good condition, but has some finishwear here and there. No cracks or repairs. Included in the sale are the original bill, the guitarmagazine and the original case.
